Phrasal verbs หรือ two-word verbs นิยมใช้กันมากในภาษาอังกฤษทั้งในภาษาพูดและ
ซึ่งในบทความนี้ผมก็จะพาเพื่อนๆไปรู้จักกับ Phrasal verbs ที่ประกอบด้วยคำกริยา “take” พร้อมความหมายและประโยคตัวอย่าง ถ้าพร้อมแล้วไปเรียนรู้กันได้เลยครับ
Take off – ถอดออก (เช่น เสื้อผ้า, รองเท้า)
I was hot so I took my jacket off.
Take off – (เครื่องบิน) บินขึ้นจากสนามบิน
Twenty minutes later, the plane took off.
Take off – พักงาน
I took three days off to move house.
Take back – นำกลับมาคืน
If the sweater is too small he can always take it back and get a refund.
Take away – นำเอาออกไป
Someone needs to come and take the old bed away.
Take out – ไปยังบางสถานที่ และทำกิจกรรมบางอย่าง กับบางคน (จ่ายเงินให้)
Our boss is taking us out for a meal to celebrate.
Take after – มีรูปร่างหน้าตาคล้าย (พ่อแม่ ญาติ ที่แก่กว่า)
Peter is very tall. He takes after his father.
Be taken in – ถูกหลอก ถูกโกง
They took the victims’ bank details and promised to send them money. I can’t believe anyone was taken in by them!
Take over – รับผิดชอบงานต่อ(จากคนที่ทำก่อนหน้านี้)
Helen took over as manager last month.
Take up – เริ่มต้นทำ
My brother has recently taken up cycling.
Take it away – (บอกคนอื่นว่า) เริ่มทำได้แล้ว
